• EDUCATION DRIVES:

    Different education drives have been started in different fields:

     

    Organized field days on the farmers fields and convinced them to minimize the use of Pesticides in the crops.

    To adapt irrigation water conservation measures.

    To minimize the use of Chemical Fertilizers and to develop their interest on the importance of soil testing.

    To promote the use of FarmYard Manure/ Green Manure / Poultry, Fish manure and sugar mill mud.

    To promote the conservation of Natural enemies (predators, parasites, parasitoid) of insect pest of different crops.

    To maintain the Bio diversity.

    Awareness to reduce the environmental pollution.

    Organized Campaigns at different places of the District. Promoted awareness among the people regarding epidemic diseases i.e Aids, Hepatitis B, C & D. and arranged vaccination programs with the collaboration of local pharmaceutical companies

  • Organized campaigns for female education.
